Branding With A Human Face

After talking with business owners the past few weeks a couple of questions keep coming up. How should I spend my marketing dollars and what should I be posting on social platforms right now?

Ad spend is specific to each business case but the answer for what to post is universal. I believe building brand should always be a priority when posting content. The ones who have been doing it well are in a much stronger position right now.

Selling in the current environment will be difficult in most verticals; however, building brand is very possible. What does that mean? It’s simple, if you’re the face of the business you need to be telling your story every day on camera!

Humans connect with humans, not logos. Owners need to turn the camera on and speak. It’s that basic. Lose the fear, drop the ego and speak your truths. It’s going to be awkward, you’ll think you look fat, you’ll stumble, say “um” or “like” a lot and the production will be shitty. Even with all those possible scenarios, owners need to get on camera.
