COVID 19 - CPM Rates Are Down

Spending money on social media ad campaigns might be difficult right now in Calgary. A lot of businesses aren’t generating revenue but some are running normally. This message is for anyone with a budget and message to get out on Facebook and Instagram.

For the past two or three weeks, we've been running ads for a client of mine. Things look really different right now. Usually CPM rates kinda hover between $6.50 to $8. Right now, this current advertising campaign we're running is down to about $4.56 per thousand impressions. So what's happening right now is there's not a lot of people advertising obviously. But if you can advertise or if you have a message to get out to the masses, right now is a really good time to do it. CPMs are down because there's not as many people buying ad space. So if you can do it, now is a good time to spend money.
